Jalco Group and the Australian Packaging Covenant (APC)

The Jalco Group has prepared the 5-year action plan to exemplify the business’ commitment to the covenant and continuously exhibit a workplace that is environmentally responsible.  This plan focuses on the requirements under the Australian Packaging Covenant and building on the commitments and actions plans declared in National Packaging Covenant Mark II in the previous years.

The Jalco Group has been a signatory to the first Packaging Covenant in July 2002 and has since implemented programs to support all areas of product stewardship. The Jalco Group throughout the years has positioned itself as the primary contract manufacturer of well-loved brands.  As such, we are guided by our commitment to safety, quality and environmental practices.   The Group carries on the practice of minimizing wastes in our operations, recycling of our packaging materials and maximizing the efficiency in water and energy use.
